The OSB service “Orders” keeps a status for each order, which you set in a selection list. Two entries in this list are intentionally left open and are called Sonstiges1 and Sonstiges2 by default. Using the osb.config configuration, you give them a name that fits your processes. Typical examples are states that WEBSALE V8s doesn’t know but your team needs every day, such as “Direct debit” or “PayPal”. The setting applies to the entire shop, meaning to all subshops and all languages together. Basics: Basics of configurations

Where the file is located

The file is located directly in the shop’s configuration directory:

Structure

The file follows the same structure as the other WEBSALE V8s configurations. The settings are in the WSOM8 section.
An empty value doesn’t undo the renaming; it is skipped. The shop replaces the default label only if a text is actually specified. If you want to return to the default label, remove the line entirely.Likewise, you can’t hide an entry. Both entries always appear in the selection list, regardless of whether you’ve renamed them.

What you can’t change with it

The selection list for the order status has eight entries. Only the two free ones can be named using this file. The other six are fixed:
There are no free entries for the status of individual order items, and therefore no renaming. The item statuses such as “shipped”, “partially shipped”, or “canceled” are fixed.
