A shop rarely stands on its own. Product data comes from the ERP system, orders go back there, and tracking and marketing systems need to be kept informed continuously. There is an interface for each of these paths. Two things distinguish the interfaces from one another: the direction and the trigger. Data to the shop (data-to-shop) comes from your systems, and data from the shop (data-from-shop) goes back to them. While some transfers are started by a trigger, others run event-driven or in real time when a page is called up.

First: the transfer

The functional interfaces describe which data is transferred in which format. How a transfer is triggered is described in one place for all of them: Guide: Transfer
