WEBSALE V8s offers two ways to shorten the normal checkout, and they have little to do with each other. The quick order is aimed at regular customers who always order the same thing: one click at the product, and the stored address and payment data are used without further confirmation. The direct order is aimed at business customers who type in or paste an order list: a form with product numbers and quantities that becomes a basket in one step.

How the BT tags work

A BT- tag outputs the technical name of the button, not its label. The shop uses this name to recognize which button was clicked.
The tag goes into the name attribute, the text for the buyer into value. The button must submit and must be inside the associated form.

The quick order

BT-FastOrder

Triggers the quick order. The button appears in addition to “Add to basket” and does not replace it.
The tag is permitted on the product detail view (ws_product.htm), the product overview page (ws_category.htm) and the basket page (ws_basket.htm).
Without the enclosing ST-FastOrder range, every visitor sees the button, including those who have never set up the quick order. Clicking it then leads nowhere.

BT-FastOrderConfigure

Saves the quick order settings, that is, which address, payment method and shipping method will be used in the future without confirmation. The button is located on the quick order template (ws_fastorder_configuration.htm).
Without this step, BT-FastOrder has no effect. The quick order only skips address and payment method because the buyer has defined them here once.

The direct order

The direct order form (ws_direct_order.htm) is a table of product numbers and quantities. Three buttons guide the buyer through the flow, and all three belong in the FORM-DirectOrder form.
The order is intentional. BT-DirectOrder_Basket is inside {ST-DirectOrder_OK} and only appears once the check has completed without errors. This way, the buyer cannot send a list with unknown product numbers to the basket.
The number of input lines is limited. If you want to paste a long list, you first have to make room with BT-DirectOrder_ExtendLines. So place this button at the end of the table, not in a footer.

BT-ExtCatOrderLines

Also extends the table of the direct order form.
This tag and BT-DirectOrder_ExtendLines are described in the source documentation with the same purpose on the same template. Before implementing, check with your WEBSALE contact which of the two is the right one for your shop.
