Default behavior

WEBSALE online shops generally operate ISO-encoded. Accordingly, all emails are sent in the ISO code that is entered in the shop configuration shop.config in the <Basic> section:

<Basic>
   ...
   Charset = iso-8859-1
   ...
</Basic>

Send emails in UTF-8 instead

For the emails sent by the shop, you can specify separately that they are sent in UTF-8:

<Basic>
   ...
   Charset            = iso-8859-1
   ConvertMailsToUTF8 = yes
   ...
</Basic>
