konfiguration/deutsch/country.dat or benutzer/templates in this documentation, they refer to this tree.
You encounter it in two places: locally on your computer, after the WSPManager has transferred the template shop from the WEBSALE server, and on the server itself when you open it via SFTP. The structure is the same in both cases.

The directories in detail
The four image sizes
Theprodukte/medien/bilder directory contains up to four versions of the same image per product, each in its own subdirectory:
You can create any additional subdirectories of your own below
produkte/medien if the predefined ones are not sufficient. The image converter, for example, creates a directory for its transfer files. What exists per language and subshop
This is the point most often overlooked when working with paths. Two directories exist not just once, but once per language or subshop. You create additional subdirectories for this in the WSPManager.
The previous documentation does not mention that the templates are also stored per subshop. The shop sets the template directory to
benutzer/templates/<Subshop> and offers no setting for it.
The subshop directories are usually named after the language, for example
deutsch. That is why the documentation refers to the language directory in some places and to the subshop directory in others. Both mean the same thing.Configuration files that apply to the entire shop are located one level higher, directly under
konfiguration. Which files these are is stated on the reference page of each file. Some files are searched for in both places: first in the subshop directory, and if the file is missing there, in konfiguration. This way you maintain a shared version and only deviate where necessary.Other directories
Individual features bring their own subdirectories that the template shop does not contain out of the box. They are created as soon as you set up the feature.

The
produkte/medien/flash directory dates from the time when shops used Flash files to display products. Flash is no longer supported by any current browser. The directory no longer has any significance for new shops.
