What the questionnaire is for

The questionnaire is the tool for the shop application. With it, you and WEBSALE AG define how your shop should work commercially before the first buyer sees it. WEBSALE then sets up the settings. Whatever is defined there once, you maintain yourself later in the configuration files. The questionnaire therefore describes the initial state, not the permanent state.
You’ll encounter this questionnaire again in two places in the documentation, because it forms the starting point for later maintenance there: when creating payment methods and when creating shipping methods.

After go-live

If you want to change one of the commercial settings later, you don’t need the questionnaire again. Ongoing maintenance takes place in the shop.config, and the corresponding sections are described in the reference.
