# Changing access data

> The AFFILUSER tags for the page on which a partner changes their own user ID and password for the partner area.

On the page `wsaffiluser_changelogin_deu.htm`, the partner changes their access data themselves. All tags on this page carry the prefix `AFFILUSER-ChangeLogin` and are only permitted there.

The structure is always the same: a form with three input fields and, below it, the messages that appear depending on the result of the check.

> State the minimum length of 6 characters at the input field already, not only in the error message. Otherwise, the partner only learns about the rule after breaking it.

## The input fields

### AFFILUSER-ChangeLoginSubmit

Returns the address for the `action` attribute of the form.

### AFFILUSER-ChangeLoginName\_input

Returns the technical name of the text input field for the new user ID.

### AFFILUSER-ChangeLoginName\_value

Outputs the current user ID. As the default value of the input field, it shows the partner which ID they are currently logged in with.

### AFFILUSER-ChangeLoginPass1\_input

Returns the technical name of the input field for the new password.

### AFFILUSER-ChangeLoginPass2\_input

Returns the technical name of the input field for repeating the new password.

### AFFILUSER-ChangeLoginPass1\_value and AFFILUSER-ChangeLoginPass2\_value

Output the previously submitted value of the respective password field again.

> Do not use these two tags to prefill the password fields. A password written back into the page appears in the page source and remains in the browser cache. Leave the fields empty after a failed attempt; the partner will retype them anyway.

## The messages

### AFFILUSER-ChangeLoginSavedChanges

The range is displayed if the change was saved successfully.

### AFFILUSER-ChangeLoginLoginShort

The range is displayed if the new user ID is shorter than 6 characters.

### AFFILUSER-ChangeLoginPasswordShort

The range is displayed if the new password is shorter than 6 characters.

### AFFILUSER-ChangeLoginPasswordError

The range is displayed if the new password and its repetition do not match.

### AFFILUSER-ChangeLoginUsernameInUse

The range is displayed if the desired user ID is already taken.

> All five messages are placed next to each other in the template, not nested. The shop decides which of them applies. If several checks have failed, several messages can also appear at the same time.
