# Cross-page tags

> The AFFILUSER tags that are available on all pages of the partner area: navigation, partner name, currency, and partner ID.

Some of the `AFFILUSER-` tags do not belong to a single page of the partner area but are available on all of them. These include the links that make up the navigation, the details of the logged-in partner, and the currency in which all amounts are shown.

This refers to the three pages of the logged-in area:

* Banner overview (`wsaffiluser_banners_deu.htm`)
* Changing access data (`wsaffiluser_changelogin_deu.htm`)
* Order data overview (`wsaffiluser_orders_deu.htm`)

## The navigation

The partner area has no navigation of its own. You build it from these four links and repeat the block on all three pages.

>
> Only `AFFILUSER-ChangeLoginLink` needs bracketing, because changing access data is not allowed in every affiliate program. The other three links are always available.

### AFFILUSER-BannersLink

Returns the link to the banner overview page.

### AFFILUSER-OrdersLink

Returns the link to the order data overview. On the order data page, the same address serves as the `action` of the period form.

### AFFILUSER-ChangeLoginLink

Returns the link to the "Changing access data" page. When used as a range tag, it only appears if the function is enabled.

### AFFILUSER-LogoutLink

Returns the link for logging out.

>
> The logout link belongs on every page of the partner area. Partners often work on shared computers, and without a visible logout link, the session remains open until it expires on its own.

## Partner details

### AFFILUSER-LoginName

Outputs the user ID of the logged-in partner.

### AFFILUSER-RefererName

Outputs the name or subreferer that you assigned to the partner in the online service area.

> [!NOTE]
>
> This name is the designation under which you manage the partner. It is better suited for the greeting than the user ID because it does not change when the access data is changed.

### AFFILUSER-PartnerCode

Outputs the ID via which orders are attributed to this partner.

## Currency and errors

### AFFILUSER-Currency

Outputs the currency that was defined for the affiliate program in the online service area.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Never hard-code the currency in the template. All amounts in the partner area are shown in the currency defined here, and a hard-coded euro sign silently becomes wrong as soon as the affiliate program settles in a different currency.

### AFFILUSER-Error

Outputs an error message of the partner area.

>
> For the known cases, such as a failed login or a password that is too short, there are dedicated range tags with their own texts. This tag is the fallback for everything else.
