# Notice for outdated browser version

> How to display a notice to shop visitors with an outdated browser so that consent to data processing does not silently fail.

In outdated browser versions — for example Firefox up to version 52 — it can happen that certain functions in the shop are not executed correctly or run slowly. The shop visitor can be made aware of this with an appropriate notice:

## Integration

### Step 1: Activation

No activation by WEBSALE is required for this function.

### Step 2: Embed the script

Embed the following code in the desired template:

      browserversion = ua[2],

      }
</script>
```

Once you have carried out all the steps, the feature is fully integrated and active.
